Is there a pub, cafe or restaurant in Winchester with good disabled access?

This is my Dads first outing since his stroke from hospital. It is important that there is easy access to the toilet. We want it to go as smoothly as possible. Help!

Telephone your local council and ask to speak to the officer responsible for disability access. There should someone able to advise you, and maybe send you a list. There has been recent legislation requiring shops, pubs , restaurants, banks etc to have proper arrangements for disabled access. They can be fined if they do not arrange this within a certain time.
While you are speaking to the Council officer ask whether your father is entitled to free or discounted parking and/or a free bus pass. Aways ask otherwise you wont find out what is available.

ALL ARE supposed to be Wheelchair friendly
and there are a few in there,
as I remember it as a half-decent city.
